with common RFID application, HTES LTD provides a demo kit
with everything they need to demonstrate the basic
capabilities of an RFID System.
This
demo kit is ideal for any company or individual wishing to
experiment with tagging their products/assets. The low cost of
the kit also keeps the investment costs to a minimum for
evaluation purposes.

The
RFID reader is for use with the popular 125 kHz EM4002/UNIQUE
tags. Read ranges of 12cm are possible with ISO
cards
The
Demo Kit User’s Guide contains instructions for installing the
software applications, setting up and configuring the hardware
devices, and running several system demonstrations. The
demonstrations are designed to represent real-world scenarios
of

A
desktop or notebook computer with the following requirements
is necessary to use the demo kit:

Microsoft Windows ME, 2000, XP or Vista
•
Pentium class processor or higher.
•
Minimum 100MB of available hard disk
space.
•
Minimum 128MB RAM.
•
CD-ROM drive.
•
XGA or higher monitor (minimum 1024x768 pixels
resolution).

available USB ports (at least two )
The
software uses either a local or web-based database to store
all information related to tagged items (people, assets and
tags) and to store all incoming activity in real-time. Also it
generates reports on incomming activities or warning for
unauthorized tags.
